For more than 100 years the D'Alessio family has been feeding the residents of Capri, developing a menu that contains remnants of the past in every bite. The chef adds a touch of creative flair and colour to every dish, and the wine list features more than 300 labels.

Their specialties include ravioli alla caprese, prickly lettuce roulade, linguine pasta with redfish, stuffed squid and a number of other dishes made with fresh fish caught in the Gulf. La Capannia has served the likes of Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis, Shelly Winters and Kirk Douglas.
